Khosla Ka Ghosla movie posterSo when college decided to set us free we didn’t look behind. We decided to elope. Only this time we had ourselves to run away with. Off we go and after a few calls and a jerky ride on a Punjab Roadways bus we finally landed on our destination. Woh Lamhe was the obvious choice but theatre schedules made it forbidden. Left with not much of a choice we decided to play with Khosla KA Ghosla. I expected the movie to be a normal attempt at comedy but it surely proved me wrong. It’s way too much better than just that!

Khosla Ka Ghosla Movie ReviewFrom start till the end the movie doesn’t let you get up for a bag of popcorns. That’s one reason why I remained hungry for the whole time! The story has been well set with a realistic touch on each and every details. Anupam Kher plays Mr. KK Khosla who finds himself on the verge of losing his newly bought plot in Delhi. The police is helpless, the laywers are discouraging and so is the property dealer who sold off the plot to him. Boman Irani is amazing again though I felt he wasn’t used to the full potential. Vinay continues to inspire with his ability to deliver humor the way it’s supposed to be. He was awesome in Pyaar Ke Side Effects (a must watch!) and he’s brilliant here too! The rest of the cast is good enough. Tara Sharma is plain noise.

The best part of watching movie with your friends (read just guys) is that you don’t need to worry about anything and you can just enjoy your movie. You can enjoy sitting in the front row (I was in the second!), laugh out loud, talk on the cell phone, make your legs comfortable, yawn and munch a packet of chips. Today was the first time I saw a few couples sitting on the cheaper seats in the front rows. Now that’s something new to me! Anyways come back to the movie and it’s a total timepass. Watch it with your friends, watch it in the front row, shout (no i don’t do that), whistle (i’m a good chap) and yawn (I don’t do that either!).

    Rating: ★★★★☆
