I was just in a poetic mood hearing Aatif Aslam all over again, thought I might try my hand at poetry one more time but damn! Anyways my dear loving darling is finally dead. She won’t wake up now. I tried life support, it failed. It won’t be easy to live without her. She’s been with me for more than an year now and breaking up would probably be the last thing on my mind. I can’t help it either. No one was able to rescue my love from technical glitches, IC breakdowns and God knows what!
So now the search begins for a newer, better and ever lasting serious relationship with another cell. Sony Ericsson is exciting, Motorola is a big big ‘NO!’, Samsung is ‘duh!’, LG is ‘touch me not!’. So it’s time to get on the reverse gear back to Nokia. I have a couple of options. I’m being told to keep things simple this time. Mom believes high end sophisticated cell phones are like rich spoilt chicks, one prick there and they’re gone! So I’ve got to get a less expensive, simple looking, easy on features and moreover a ‘nice’ phone. Much like a traditional saree or a suit wearing ‘Seedhi Saadhi’ girl for marriage. I’m down to a couple of these girls I mean phones which are just about perfect. Nice and simple.
Nokia 6070

FM stereo radio
Integrated VGA camera with video capability
Large, brilliant 65,536-color display
Tri-band phone with EDGE, XHTML browser, and email access
Durable monoblock design with large, readable display
She’s perfect for me. A nice Nokia for a nice guy (well almost!)
Nokia 6020

Integrated VGA camera
Camcorder for clips up to 50 seconds
xHTML browser over EDGE and GPRS
Java™ downloading
Dedicated Push to Talk button
She’s cheap, simple and comes with a nice joystick. Depends on what feels good in the hand, I might go for this or the former.
Nokia 6101

VGA camera with dedicated camera button and self-portrait capability
Nokia Xpress audio messaging
Multimedia messaging (MMS)
Two color displays
FM stereo radio with headset
Push to talk
She’s good looking. A bit expensive but definately worth it!
So let’s see! What are you looking at? Give me some advice, don’t just stare at the stupid post!
