It’s well past midnight. Khushi’s parents assume their sixteen year old daughter is deep into the world of dreams and having a sound sleep in her room. Enter Khushi’s room and you can hear the tick ticking of her cell phone keypad in the night’s silence. Welcome to love land!
Khushi is today’s common middle class college going girl who’s being made to believe that falling in love isn’t something that’s on the list of things ‘allowed’ by the family. But then that shouldn’t stop her from doing anything that she knows is right for her. Khushi and probably thousands of girls like her meet their guys in the local coffee shop after college, chat with them on the internet/mobiles, bunk classes and go for movies, have long secret conversations on the phone in the bathroom and romance with their kissy poo! The parents have no clue to what their sweet sugar coated girls are upto behind their backs. The only question is, is this all we do morally correct? Hell yeah!
Guys and girls making love secretly isn’t anything new, not at least in India alone. Our parents do enforce us to sign the I won’t acquire the love disease treaty while we’re still young. So is love wrong? No way! So how do we still go about it? Simple! We hide it. We do it secretly and we don’t tell our parents. That’s all. The question of doing stuff without the due knowledge of our parents doesn’t arise. The due course of morality here is upto what extent do you involve yourself with your partner. If you’re within your limits there’s nothing wrong. Some might say it’s breaking your parents trust and that’s like a big sin but hey, we’re only spreading love, making love, helping the opposite sex fall in love and that’s nothing wrong.
The age of liberal parenting is still to come up with the new generation. I guess the whole stay away from the opposite sex thing will blow up once our generation raises our kids. Till then we’ll need to hide our affairs, gifts, smooches and heart breaks under our pillow! Wait, my cell is ringing I’ve got to take this one!

LOL @ “Wait, my cell is ringing
I’ve got to take this one!”
It is not wrong to hide it from
parents. Its your life and you should have full right to do whatever
you want to do with it provided you know the consequences and also
know what you are doing.
eggjacktly!
if our parents get to
know abt this , then dat’s gonna just increase their tension….so i
say, they r already tensed wid our phone bills…..and we shud keep
our affairs a secret. (moreover affairs are more enjoyable if kept
secret)
