High school is finally over. My parents now have another thing to worry about me other than my freedom, weekly allowance, talking to strange guys and other things they believe aren’t suitable for an eighteen year old like me. The result for the finals was as expected, crap! With a couple of no-so-good scores on my stupid mark-sheet I might just have to roam around like a nomad before I find a place in any college around.
The first thing my parents and others are concerned about is the course I should select for college. Now that’s a very interesting question. My future depends on this exact question and right now I realize I just spent twelve years at college and I never sat down and thought upon this. I wanted to be superwoman when I was in primary school. I wanted to be a model when I entered high school. I just wanted to get laid when I was nearing the end of high school. Sad enough nothing worked for me! So coming back to the question I don’t really have much of a choice on a serious note. I could end up getting hitched to a rich freak and swallow all his smiling Gandhis and run away a night after marriage. So the choice doesn’t matter anymore. I’m like a desperate girl looking for anything I can get my hands on.
Next comes the choice for a decent college. Now why would a spoilt brat want that? Well, I’m no spoilt chick here for everyone to note. MCM DAV seems to be a decent college I have heard about from Harry. But hey! There’s no guy population out there. Ruled out! Then there’s DAV College which has a good reputation (like it matters?) and there’s a handsome quantity of guys from all over! The remaining are some Government colleges and a few private colleges which stink right till the main entrance so a big no for me. Anything outside Chandigarh isn’t for me.
If we’re talking about college then it’s not complete without fashion and glamor. Shopping is a must at least two-three weeks before college is on. Now that’s where a boyfriend comes in handy! Nevertheless I will have to rely on my parents hard earned cash for now. So what to wear at college? Well, each day should be a new fresh day to show off what you got!
I just can’t wait to enter college, have fun, sneak out, bunk classes, fall in love and the millions of things people do at college! So get set college, Ish is coming to set things on fire!
