The Economics of Love!

Posted by: Deepak

No money no honeyGone are the times when lovers used to make merry sitting peacefully under the cool shade of trees far away, all alone. They would sit besides each other for hours. They would laugh, talk, gossip, tease and rarely enjoy a kiss or two. And then the times changed. Technology had to expand. There are fewer trees. Parks aren’t the places for a comfortable date anymore. Population exploded and people had nothing better to do and they came up with a stupid of moral policing. So parks became a venue for senior citizen’s idiotic laughter therapies.

With nowhere to go the lovers now had to find another place for dating. Right then coffee bars, cafes, fast food centers specially catering to the youth cropped up. You go there. You sit and chat. You have something to eat or drink. You make merry. Apart from the venue what caused a great deal of misery to the ever happy ‘he’ in the entire romance theory was money! Suddenly from chewing corn at parks he’s supposed to pay a handsome Rs.60 for an average cup of coffee. There’s more to that. A lot. Here’s the economics of love!

Why you should not use Internet Explorer (and get Firefox)

Posted by: Sukhbir Singh 'BinaryGuy'

Microsoft Internet explorer versus Mozilla firefoxThe time has come to dump Internet Explorer (IE as it is called). Now this might seem like a typical anti - Microsoft article; but believe me - I am not against Microsoft - I use Windows only and a lot of their other products.

The benefits of using IE are too few - and the faults too great. It is time to get real. Time to get Firefox.
Why not use IE:?

| Security :

Who is not concerned about security or privacy for that matter? Would you like someone else spying over what you do on the Internet? This is the biggest flaw with IE. It allows malicious websites to install spyware on your computer without your even knowing about it. Such websites can install backdoor viruses - the biggest threat being keyloggers (a keylogger is a software that can record everything and anything you do on your computer - Every single word you type and every single mouse click) So what you do on your PC everyday is being sent to a server somewhere in the US. Scary enough.

Tring Tring! Hello, it’s love!

Posted by: Fishy_Ishy

Tring Tring hello it's loveYou’ve had the worst day of your life. College is too hard to get used to. You get stared at by the most unwanted freaks all the time. The lecturers speak in a tone as if they’re trying to seduce you. Monsoon is acting as if he’s in a serious relationship with Gujrat, Maharashtra. Suddenly the cell phone rings again. This time the caller gathers the guts to make use of his speaking abilities. A scared, dark and pathetic voice on the other hand asks for your true friendship and whether you’d mistake to jump into a relationship with them. It’s usual for a girl to get at least 4-5 calls like this everyday.

Ever since cell phones made their way into our pockets we’ve always rejoiced at the very idea of owning a chic gadget. Somehow at times like these we’re only able to curse the people who imported the damn machines in the first place. Unsolicited boyfriend offers is what I call them, these are worse than the usual Chunnus and Munnis selling credit cards, insurance and other crap to you. The callers in these cases have the manners to talk whereas these guys lack the basic etiquettes.

But there’s an Ishy way to get out of the mess!
