Music Review: Raeth - Move over Jal here’s more!

Posted by: Fishy_Ishy

Pakistani rock band Raeth music reviewIf there’s one thing we could trade from the Pakistanis in place of Kashmir it would have to be their cute looking, dashing and melodious rock bands. If Jal didn’t quench your thirst make way for Raeth. Raeth offers a unique mix of the eastern and western sounds. Their brand new album recently launched is already a hot seller in India. Raeth offers a trademark Pakistani rock band quality with meaningful lyrics and a crisp music composition. It’s high time you took out those Jal CDs from your players, make way for Raeth. They rock! No not just because they’re cute, they can really rock!

Raeth music album songs

The album comprises of ten track including a remix. Raeth is a three member music band with one session musician. That unique blend of guitars and the drums added with amazing lyrics makes me wanna jump! The title track Bhulado is already hitting the national television with a cool video. The song is a chart buster already and the band is all set to come out with a brand new video for another track pretty soon!

Music Review: Umrao Jaan (2006)

Posted by: Fishy_Ishy

Umrao Jaan 2006 music songs reviewIt’s not everyday that you rush to your nearest music store and ask for a CD with some amount of desperation. When names like JP Dutta, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Shabana Azmi and Suneil Shetty appear in one go it’s breathtaking for me at least. Abhishek looks stunning in the ongoing promos and Aishwarya seems a doll. An old worn-out doll. A doll with a lot of make-up. Enough! So it’s Umrao Jaan again. Not that I’ve seen the previous version but I have some hopes on this one. Two things. JP Dutta’s movies are definately worth a watch and the main glitter Abhishek Bachchan. Probably the only reason for me to watch the movie!

Coming back to the music scene. Anu Malik somehow manages to create some music with a little bit of noise. Well it’s music by the second and third time you hear it. It somehow gives you a total feeling of sitting in some mehfil and youcan smell that flavour of yesteryears. With everyone trying hard to stick their noses into making remakes it seems to have become a viral in Bollywood. With Don already lined up for Diwali, Umrao Jaan might add to your popcorn moolah.

Movie Preview: JP Dutta’s Umrao Jaan

Aishwarya Rai as Umrao Jaan movie trailersIt seems like an year of remakes and sequels. One after the other Bollywood is simply following the chase for a could-be blockbuster by cashing in on the old-is-gold mantra. While Lage Raho Munnabhai is rocking the nation some sequels didn’t really work out for the director’s cup of coffee.

No matter. If a sqeuel sounds risky Bollywood has it’s way with remakes. Farhan Akhtar is tight lipped about his latest flick Don which is a remake of the old classic. We’ll get more on that soon! Adding fire to the belly is the latest to hit the national televisions with a slick promo is J.P Dutta’s latest Umrao Jaan. Aishwarya stars as Umrao Jaan and along with her is the dashing Abhishek Bachan. The film is a remake of the old classic with the same title. Umrao Jaan earlier starred Rekha in the lead role. The trailers have hit the idiot boxes and the viewers are already excited. Everybody’s eyeing the music of the film which should release soon anytime now!

Movie Preview: Dhoom 2

Posted by: Fishy_Ishy

Dhoom 2 banner screenshots preview wallpaper Vrrooom! No that’s not the next door guy’s bike circling around your peaceful residence breaking all silent noise barriers across your place but that’s exactly how Yash Raj Films stunned the movie goers with their blockbuster movie Dhoom. The thrill is coming back this season all over again with even more wild chases, bikini skin tease, hot looks and that super glossy touch! Hrithik Roshan, Bipasha Basu and Aishwarya Rai would join the Dhoom saga with this sequel with John Abraham and Esha Deol taking some rest.

The trailers for the movie which is scheduled for a release this Diwali are out on the internet. Dhoom 2 will certainly light up to the amazing diwali fireworks along with Salaam-E-Ishq, Don and Umrao Jaan. Sequels are now being taken as a safer bet to cash in on the movie’s reputation and previous sales. Dhoom 2 comes jam packed with more stunts that promise to make your eyes glued to the screens for a while. The film also stars Abhishek Bachan and Uday Chopra. Well I’m waiting for the Dhoom 2 music to be released. I hope the music would be a rocking one as it was with the original movie. Hrithik is playing the bad guy as John did previously and rumour has it that the film doesn’t flash bikes as they did last time. Did they run out of gas?!

It’s raining men? No way it’s a drought!

Coffee with TarunCounting my personal experiences I was certainly not made for love. Or was it the other way around? I don’t care! For every time I try my hand, expensive clothing and new perfumes at the pathetic inventions called dating, I fail big time. No it’s you it’s me. Actually it’s just you. Yes you! You that ignorant, stupid, mysterious guy with no idea and every time it’s you who rings a bell at my dating doors. For now it’s time to put a do not disturb sign at that door for a long long time. Since I don’t have a good luck finding the right type of guys I feel like snatching some experienced committed guys who’re already in a relationship. (Harry beware!)

Somehow there’s nothing called innocence left in guys anymore. No offence to anyone. Guys are more interested in girlfriends than in a girl. What’s the difference? One, a girlfriend is defined as the sexy beast who goes out with you, has coffee with you, let’s you hold her hand during movies, fills in for you each time you’re bored and have extra bucks left on your pre-paid calling cards, makes the most of your bike’s backseat, provides you with a i-am-not-single and i-have-a-girlfriend status. Two, a girl is defined as the one who’s innocent, seedhi-saadhi, traditionally dressed up, talks less, can cook, shuts up when you shout at her and marries you. So you have fun with the girlfriend and marry the girl. Ofcourse you expect the girl to be untouched (sick!), germ free and totally pre-programmed robotic human.
